Part 3

Into the Fray

Garen ran back as fast as he can to Ezreal, Kaoru and Master Yi, Who is still sleeping, Garen wakes them all up "Wake up! guys! wake up!" he shakes Ezreal body, Slaps Master Yi face twice and Kicks Kaoru torso.
"Man! that hurts!" Said Kaoru, He held his torso. "Whatever! we got trouble!" Said Garen, His voice were rushed and his face is pale, Master Yi asked him
"What Trouble? the trouble i see is we didn't have enough sleep!"
"Quit it!" Said Garen, His tone becomes more louder "Follow me!"
Garen leads the gang to a hill that overlooks the Noxian camp. Everyone was surprised.
"So, this is the trouble? We gotta hurry back to Demacia and tell the Prince!" said Master Yi
"I know! That's why i'm hurrying!" Garen stopped talking and turns away, He began to run as fast as he can
"Wait, Dammit!" Said the Prodigal Explorer, After taht, They follow Garen and run together to Demacia, While running Garen looks very focused to the road, Declining to spoke whenever someone said something to him. They ran as fast as they can with the goal only to reach Demacia as fast as they can. Some hours later, The night already ended as the sun was already at the highest, Marking a noon has come.
It shines really bright to their roads. The fierce heat forces so many sweat down the spine. Just after another hour of running, Garen face is drenched with sweats while Kaoru and Ezreal face looks very exhausted, Master Yi asked them "You two...look...Exhausted..."
"Yeah...Garen! can we rest?" Said Kaoru, Garen answers Kaoru question with a loud voice "No dammit!"
Upon hearing that, Kaoru and Ezreal falls to the ground, exhausted. Master Yi also stops. "Garen...stop...We...We're Exhausted..." Said the WuJu Bladesman, He took a potion and drink it until the last pour, then he throw it away. "You guys so weak! The Demacia is in peril!
and you are Exhausted! c'mon stand up!" Said Garen, After that long run, Garen face still looks okay, Only sweats in his face that tells he is Exhausted
"Losing health units...must rest..." Said Kaoru, He laid down to the ground and spread his arm. Ezreal Exclaimed "If only we keep those horses...."
"What horses?" Said Garen, He seems clueless, Ezreal replied "The horses you set free...after our trip to...the Voodoo lands..."
"Oh, that..." Garen lowers his face and facepalm his head. three card falls down from Kaoru pocket, It was Metalgelas, Evildiver and Venosnaker. He picks it up and quietly put them back on his pocket. Master Yi saw it and began to think, After several minutes, he grins
"Guys..." Master Yi stares at Kaoru, He says "I know what to do!"
"Huh?"Kaoru seems clueless meanwhile Garen seems eager to hear.

The gang continued to move, This time, They are using Kaoru's pet, Metalgelas, Evildiver and Venosnaker. Kaoru is carried by Metalgelas while Venosnaker carries both Master Yi
and Garen. Ezreal rides Evildiver like a surfing way, although he finds it very hard to balance himself. "Nice idea, Yi!" Said Garen
"hehe..."Master Yi nodded. Kaoru pets moves as fast as they can to Demacia. Overcoming so many rocks, Rough way and a river. But, when the night falls, They all stopped. Kaoru pets is exhausted and Kaoru recalls them to the card. "Seems like we have to run again after this..."said Kaoru
"Let's go!" Said Ezreal. The gang runs again, into the roads to Demacia. As the moon shines brightly, The roads is becoming more and more concrete. Signalling them that Demacia is just around the corner. Master Yi began to increases his pace, Running with an unparalleled agility. Ezreal would sometimes Teleports his way ahead to save more time and Garen increases his running pace a bit, Running faster than before. Kaoru summons back Evildiver and rides it.
Evildiver exhaustion seems to have gone. The gang continued to move like this until they are in front of the Demacia gate, Arriving just after two to three days of running from Kalamanda to Demacia. After the gate have been opened, They rushes to the Royal palace as fast as they could.

In the throne room, The door was opened by Garen. Ezreal, Kaoru and Master Yi falls to the ground, Exhausted. Garen ran to Jarvan, Jarvan looks confused
"um...Why are you guys in a hurry like this?"
"Trouble, Your highness!" Said Garen, from his tone, Jarvan can tell that Garen is Exhausted. Garen continues speaking "Noxian forces...The Noxus are attacking us!"
"What!" Xin Zhao is surprised, He ran to Garen and says "Are you serious, Garen!" He continually shooks Garen body, Garen nodded lightly and sighs.
The Prince stood up from his throne, he walks to the window and looks outside. The air is tense in the group as everyone is silent. "Prince?" Said Garen.
Jarvan was quiet for a while, but after a while, he speaks with a low voice
"...i know this day was coming, maybe it's because what i say to Swain..."
"but, Isn't the League of legends..." Said Garen, Jarvan turns his attention back to Garen, He says "This morning, there's a league summoner comes to Demacia"
He pauses and then continues "he was injured, badly. before succumbs to his wound, he informs us that the Institute of war is destroyed by a mysterious group, Led by a woman"
Ezreal, Kaoru and Master Yi stands up after no longer exhausted and approaches Garen.
"So does that mean League is no more?" Said Kaoru, Jarvan silently nods. Ezreal looked around and says "Then that's explain Fiddlesticks appearance in the Kalamanda"
After another brief silent moment, Jarvan slowly walk to Xin Zhao. "Xin, I need you to go to the barracks and told our soldiers to stand guard and patrol the city" Said the Prince.
"It shall be done!" Said the Seneschal of Demacia, He ran from the Throne room to the barracks. Jarvan turns his attention to the gang "Now, i need you guys to tell any champion that is staying here in Demacia to get ready to help us defend!"
"Ok!" Master Yi nodded, Before leaving, Kaoru asks Jarvan "What if they don't want to?"
"If they don't want to, tell them they can stay and die if our defence is lost" Said the Prince. Then, the gang left to the city and searches all of the Champion
who has participated in the Fields of Justice and stays in Demacia. Outside of the throne room, Master Yi came up with another idea "guys, to hasten our search, let's split up!" Said the WuJu Bladesman, Garen nodded and they quickly splits up.

Garen is searching through the royal palace and met Poppy, The Iron Ambassador from the Bandle city. "Poppy what a good timing!" he said
Poppy is confused "Do you need something?" Ask the Iron Ambassador, Garen told what happen to Demacia to Poppy, Upon hearing it, Poppy says "oh! ok then, i'll show those bastard Noxus what a Yordle capable of!" Poppy grips her hand, Garen is relieved and told her to get ready before left.
Ezreal is looking for Galio near the gates "Strange, I thought he was here somewhere!"
Galio descends from the sky, apparently hearing what Ezreal said. He spoke with a rather gentle word "Do you need something from the Guardian?"
"There you are! Galio, something big is happening!" Ezreal exclaimed. He began to describe that Noxus is going to attack Demacia, Galio is silent after hearing it.
He silently spoke "I see..." He quietly assumes his statue form and sleeps again. Ezreal shrugs after seeing that.
Kaoru is in the bar, He finds Vayne sitting in the counter, drinking a beer. He sat beside Vayne, Vayne looks at Kaoru. She says
"Kids shouldn't be in here" Said the Night Hunter, She took a sip from her drink.
"I know, Vayne, There's something i need to tell you!" Said Kaoru, Vayne silently listens to what Kaoru says. Kaoru told her that Noxus gonna invade Demacia soon, Vayne stood up and
places some money in the counter. She brushed Kaoru's hair "I get it, thanks for the info" Vayne said quietly.
She then left the bar. Kaoru stares at where Vayne left.
Master Yi is walking in the streets, In the way, He met Garen's sister, Lux.
"Master Yi?" she said, Master Yi nods. "Thanks for taking care of my brother!" Lux bows her head.
"No need!" He said, "Lux, Something terrible is happening!" Master Yi tone is a bit fast, He told her about the Invasion. Lux looks surprised.
"What...i-i see, I will get ready to defend this city!" Said Lux, She looks a little scared. Lux look to the sky. "What's wrong Lux?" Said Master Yi
Lux replied with a low tone"Nothing...I just never thought that noxus gonna attack this city, I'm a little scared..." Master Yi walks close to Lux, He held Lux shoulder and says "Do not fear the unknown, We will defeat the Noxus" Master Yi breathes a little
Lux blushes and looks down, don't know what to say. During that moment, Garen saw what happens, he quietly approaches Master Yi.
"What are you doing to my sister?" He said, Master Yi realizes that Garen was just behind him and quickly moves his hand back from Lux shoulder.
"Nothing..." Said Master Yi, He calmed his tone "I just told Lux what happen, Honest"
Garen nodded "i see, Lux, Prepare yourself okay!" He said. Lux nodded and left.

The gang meets up at the rest home Jarvan gives to them the other day. The Pentakill statue is still there.
They all sat in a bench, No one speaks a word. The atmosphere in the room is heavy. After a brief moment, Master Yi stoods up and takes his sword.
he began to channels a mystical power around him and begins to meditate. He focuses his mind and eases his soul. After seeing that, Kaoru took
his pet's card from his pocket and looks at it, Inspecting his pet power and energy.
Ezreal also took the amulet in his gauntlet, As it glow brightly, He puts it back to where it was. Garen also began to practice his sword skill.
Thanks to Yi's Meditate, The gang began to prepare themselves for the big day.
Kaoru steps out of the house after checking his card, He sat on a ground and looks to the sky, the moon was full and shines very bright. He smiles to the moon. Kaoru took out his pets card and summon Metalgelas, Evildiver and Venosnaker. Venosnaker slither near Kaoru and rests. Evildiver is floating  happily above Kaoru and Metalgelas quietly sat beside Kaoru. Kaoru pats Venosnaker heads and says "I hope i still live through all this..." He quietly whispers "Aegis...I miss you..."
he continues to look at the moon.

Inside the Royal palace. Xin Zhao was talking with Prince Jarvan. "Prince Jarvan, Our defences has been prepared, Let's hope for the best tommorow"
"Good...then get some rest, Xin" Said Jarvan, Xin Zhao doesn't move, Jarvan asks him "What's wrong?"
"I never thought that Noxus can get this serious...Have you requested any soldier or army from Piltover or Ionia?" Said Xin Zhao.
"No..." Jarvan sighs, He says "They will never make it" Jarvan expression turns pale "I also hopes for the best tommorow..."
Xin Zhao grip his own hand "Your highness, Remember, A Warrior's spirit is never broken!" He said. Jarvan was relieved to hear that, then he left the throne room with Xin Zhao follows him from behind.

Around the night, The gang were awoken by a loud noises outside of their house, They gear themselves up and head for the door, It was Xin Zhao
"What's wrong Xin?" Said Garen, Xin Zhao replied with a pale expression "The Noxians are attacking! they are overwhelming the gates!"
"What!!!" Said the WuJu Bladesman, The gang is very surprised. Xin Zhao continues "Apparently, There's someone who opens the gate and let's the Noxian forces overwhelm us!
The forces are battling near the streets, you must help them!" Said Xin, he quickly left to help out the soldier, Garen quickly follows Xin Zhao to the gates while Ezreal, Kaoru and Master Yi
follows him from behind. As soon as they arrive at the streets of Demacia, So many Noxians soldiers were there, Either attacking or killing Demacian soldiers. Noxian forces is composed of soldier
with swords and Shields, they comes with mutated humans, Cyborg or robot composed to one army.
"Fear not! i'm coming!" Said Garen, He charges to the battlefield and yells "Demacia!!!!!"
A bright golden shield surrounds him. He spuns his sword to perform his Dance of the Death to many of Noxian forces and brutally attacks them all, Master Yi charges to Garen aid and
leaps to the battlefield, Quickly striking the Noxian soldiers. The battle intesinfies real hard, Although the gang manages to kills many enemies, they are overwhelmed.

The gang splits up to different parts of the city to help out defending the city. Master Yi heads to the residence where many soldiers kills innocent villagers. Master Yi quickly ran to them
very fast and kills them all. He aided the villagers escape and the soldier defending the city. Amidst the Noxian soldier, there was a very thin man, his head is bald and he wields a large bulwark
on his left arm. Master Yi was surprised to saw him. "Singed!" He said. He charges to Singed and battles with him "You will pay for what you've done to my village!" Said Master Yi. Singed chuckles
"haha...try it, You're gonna get hurt!" Said the Mad Chemist. They enganes into a battle amidst the battles between the Noxian soldiers. Master Yi strikes Singed with his sword but is constantly blocked
by Singed's massive bulwark. After a great battle, Master Yi got the upper hand and slashes Singed Chest armor and stabs him in the torso "It's over, Singed!" He said. Singed lets out a maniacal laughs
and rams Master Yi with his bulwark, Knocking him back, Singed calmly took the sword from his guts and he seemed to be fine. There's even no blood flows from his torso. Singed drops the sword to the ground.
Master Yi cleanses the blood from his mouth. Singed kicks the sword back to Master Yi, Which Master Yi quickly takes. "Impossible, You..." Said Master Yi, He is surprised at Singed massive endurance, Singed Exclaimed"Surprised? i feel no pain from your pathetic sword!"
After laughing for several moments, Singed took a Red Potion, Which he quickly drinks. A kettle-boiling sound can be heard from Singed as the vial rages in his back. Singed has droven to Insanity.
He moves very fast and the stab wound regenerates in an abnormal way. Master Yi squints his googles and Charges to him. Battling Singed again.

Meanwhile, At the marketplace of Demacia, Garen is there aiding soldiers fighting, Vayne tumbles near him and fires her silver bolts through enemy hearts "Thanks for you help, Vayne!" Garen Said. Vayne nodded.
More Noxians forces began to come again, This time, there was a jester in the front line. He wields two knife. Vayne quickly realizes who is the Jester. She Tumbles again to the jester location and fires another
silver bolt, The Jester dissapears "Where are you! Coward!" Vayne said, The Jester appears behind her "look...Behind...you!" He said, Vayne realizes he's behind her and tumbles again to avoid the Jester knife.
"Shaco...You will pay for what you've done to me!" She cried. Shaco laughs, He throws one of his knife to the air and grab it "Hahaha...Why So serious?" he asked. Vayne inhales, She draws her big crossbow and point it to Shaco
"I shall bring you a swift death.."She said. Vayne fires a large silver bolt to Shaco, Shaco dodges it and throw a poisoned dagger to Vayne, Vayne tumbles to dodge the dagger. The fight continues as both character dissapears to blackness.
Garen was fighting many Noxian soldier with Demacian soldier, a woman appears. Her hair is red and she wore a black shirt and pants, with many daggers and knife on her belt. On her left eye, there was a scar.
"Hi garen" she said, Her tone was rather seductive but friendly, Garen stares at the woman and his expression becomes angry, He points his large sword to her "Katarina!" He said, Katarina chuckles and took two dagger from her belt.
"Glad you remembered me" She said "You surprised to see me here, hmm?" Garen looks annoyed "bah!" he loudly said "You must be the one who opens the gate, right!"
"I'm surprised you know!" She exclaimed. Garen was angered and charges to her. He lifts his sword and slashes Katarina, But Katarina shunpos to a Noxian soldier "Nice try" she said.
"C'mere! i shall put another scar on your face!" Garen cried, Katarina smirks as Garen charges toward her.

Vayne and Shaco battle continues to a quiet road where there is no one, Vayne looked around "Hah, now no one will stop me from killing you!" She said
Vayne draws her small crossbow and fires a silver bolt to Shaco, Shaco simply blocks it and he quickly vanishes to shadow. Shaco appears behind her and attempts to stab her, but Vayne tumbles
her way out of the harm's way and fires another silver bolt, Shaco barely dodges the bolt. Shaco took a dagger and throws it to Vayne, But Vayne dodges it. Vayne stares Shaco in disgust. She draws her big crossbow
and barrages Shaco with many bolts with it, Shaco dissapears again and appears behind her again, But didn't attack her, He quietly whispers to Vayne ear "Why so serious?"
Vayne turns her attention to her backs, but Shaco wasn't there, Her eyes darted around, Trying to find Shaco. Suddenly a box appears in front of her and a Jester head was popping from the box.
The Jack in the box fires a little arrow to Vayne, But Vayne simply stomps the Jack in the box and crushing it to bits. Shaco began speaking from the shadow "My mommy hold a knife, She points the knife and put it in my mouth... She laughed and says...Why so serious?" He said, Vayne was enraged "Come out! you coward! I won't be distracted!"
Shaco voice can be heard again "She turns her attention away from me and looks to a...woman with a pale skin...she whispers...Why so serious, Darlin'?" He appears in front of Vayne "Hi!" He said, He quickly stabs Vayne torso then dissapears again.
Vayne writhes in pain as she took the knife and releases it from her stomach. Vayne closes her eyes "Time for Reckon!" She shouts, Bats began flying out around her, She drew her big Crossbow and fires a heavy and large bolt to a wall, It hits Shaco
"Aaaagh! Damn you!" He said, Shaco was struggling to be free as Vayne approaches him, She points her crossbow to Shaco head and fires it. The bolt hit Shaco's head "finally..." she murmurs, Surprisingly, Shaco can still talk "Surprise!" he said Shaco body vanishes and turns into numerous dagger, The Dagger burst to anywhere, Many of it hits Vayne. The real Shaco appears behind her and stabs her back with his two knife. Even from the back, Shaco manages to hit a vital point.
"Dammit..."She cursed. As blood flows from her back, Vayne falls to her knees "Finished..."She whispers quietly. Shaco laughs and juggles his knife, He left Vayne to die. As Vayne losing conciousness, She began speaking alone "I'm finished...dammit..."
She pauses "I hope...Demacia doesn't suffer as i do..." She said, Vayne falls to the ground, She succumbs to her wound and dies.

Kaoru and Ezreal are together, They are heading to the Royal Palace of Demacia but was stopped by Xin Zhao "Stop!" He said
"What's wrong Xin?" Ezreal asked, Xin Zhao looks down "You guys get out of here fast! that's what Prince Jarvan told me" He said
Kaoru and Ezreal looks to each other, confused "Huh? what do you mean?" Kaoru said, Xin Zhao hold his spear firmly "Go grab your friends! Escape the city!" Said Xin Zhao
his tone is very serious "I will hold them off, here!" Ezreal looks reluctant but nodded along with Kaoru and left. Many Noxian soldiers are charging to Xin Zhao, Xin Zhao spits and says "If i die here, I will perish with honor! You want some piece of me? okay!" he said, He Extended his arm to the spear "Here's a tip! and a Spear behind it!" he said
As Noxian forces drew near to him, he prepares himself "Heeeaaaaaahhh!" He shouted as he executed a fierce spear sweep to the Noxian forces around him and began attacking the enemy.

Kaoru looked to Xin Zhao from distance as he and Ezreal ran to the village area, They saw Master Yi, who is still fighting Singed, But before they could yell to him, There was explosion
that crumbles a home, Blocking their way to Master Yi, Kaoru kicks the ruins "Dammit..." he cursed. they ran back to another area.
In the Demacian Villager gathering center, Noxian forces were fighting the Demacian soldiers, Noxian number were overwhelming and seemingly defeating Demacian soldiers. Kaoru and Ezreal
appears from one of the road and attempts to help out, Galio and Poppy apears behind them, Galio stops them "Stop, young man" He said "But, They need our help! how can we just stand here!" Ezreal said
He attempts to helps the Demacia Forces, Galio stops him again "I'll help them, Poppy help this dudes to escape through the back, okay!" Said Galio, Poppy nodded "This way, follow me!" She said
Kaoru and Ezreal nodded and left with Poppy. Galio stares at the location they walk and looks to the sky, He whispers "Master Durand...I will not fail you..."
Galio flew to the battlefield and lands in the ground, He assumes his statue form, The Noxian forces attacks his statue. His Statue began to crumble. From his crack, A light escapes. Galio began to crack even more and Galio finally crumbles, Releasing a massive gust of light ray to those around him, Killing all forces nearby.

From afar, Kaoru, Ezreal and Poppy felt the shockwave from Galio Explosion "Could that be Galio's..." Said Kaoru, Poppy quietly whisper "Let's just move"
As they move, They notice strange explosion that occurs in the city, The blast destroys many parts of the city. And another explosion occurs just near them.
Sending them flying to the air and out from Demacia, To a forest.

Outside the city, A large tent, Swain comes out from it. Although his mouth is covered, He is smirking.
"hahahahahahaha!" He laughs "Demacia, has fallen to the Noxus!" He grips his arm and pet his bird.


The city-state of Demacia, Has fallen into the hands of Noxus.
